Poems For Kids – Door Knocking Frozen Food

Leave a comment Standard

Here is a poem I wrote in the 1990s called ‘Door Knocking Frozen Food’.

A knock on the door was a pleasant surprise,
until I saw who it was, and out popped my eyes.
There on a chair was a frozen Fish Finger
singing a song from his favourite singer.

‘Start Spreading The News’ is what it began.
It danced and it danced, but I wasn’t a fan.
I went inside and got out some pepper,
and ate it up – but don’t feel much better!
